I found you by chance, love your site...I would kill for the leather bag Keith Richards has in the "Aran" sweater photo...I agree with George Bernard Shaw, that life isn't about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself...The Stones certainly created the life right from the start, sartorially speaking, remember Mick Jagger in that striped sweater back in '63 or so...although I always loved Keith...first and foremost it was Charlie Watts...a finer gentleman there never was and a pretty damn fine musician...

Neat stuff. To see how young guys are invoking the spirit of Rolly Free and the other early Salt Flats guys, take a look at what our friend Bobby Green is doing with his Old Crow Speed Shop bellytanker: http://www.oldcrowspeedshop.com/

I like that the penny loafers are called 'Norwegian Slippers'. I also cant help but think how fun the Norwegian kiltie shoes look. Many of the shoes are still available today, but what about all of those socks? What is the year of this Esquire...1930s?

[...] Miles Davis had style for miles, so to speak… Yeah, we’re walking a fine line of being tediously cliche, but the fact remains that whatever Miles did — music, women, heroin, dressing — he did it to the fullest. And like a true artist, his style was always evolving, innovative, relevant, and definitely full of surprises. You may not have always understood him, but you could appreciate his artistry. Sometimes, that’s all a man can ask for. People may not always appreciate how you go about things, but you can’t be denied if what you deliver at the end of the day is special. Go ahead and read into that whatever it is you want… [...]
